On November 12, 5 Oklahoma State Alumni were honorarily inducted into the Order of Omega. The Order of Omega is a national organization founded in 1959 to recognize those fraternity men and women who have attained a high standard of leadership in Interfraternity activities.
From Stillwater 4 members were inducted including Gary Clark of Alpha Gamma Rho, Beth Peterson of Kappa Delta, Debbie Strickland of Gamma Phi Beta and Jeremy Zweiacker of Alpha Gamma Rho. Also inducted was Oklahoma City resident Steve Reel of Delta Tau Delta.
The new members were inducted for their work in the establishment of the Greek Neighborhood Association. The purpose of the GNA is to “Provide One Voice” for the Greek community at Oklahoma State University. By working with the Stillwater community and OSU, the Association is working to expand and enhance the safety, security and streetscape surrounding the fraternity and sorority houses at OSU.
